Coca-Cola’s marketing department found a way to let consumers do their job for them. The company called on fans to submit videos depicting what it feels like to drink a coke. The best clips, according to Coca-Cola, would be included in their next ad.
The spot, titled “This Is AHH,” will begin airing this week. It is a compilation of the best 40 submissions out of the 400 received from all over the world. The ad is the first ever television commercial comprised exclusively of fan videos (with the exception of a few brief animations).
The ad is part of a campaign targeting teenagers that is now in its second year. The company is engaging this demographic by offering them a voice in the campaign.
